In this Client Stories series, we share anonymised examples of how we approach gut and chronic-health concerns using a practical, science-informed process. Every person is different, so this is not medical advice—it is an educational look at what a supported wellbeing journey can involve.
The starting point
Finding a clear place to begin
A client came in feeling stuck: ongoing digestive discomfort, unpredictable energy, and a sense that “healthy eating” was not translating into feeling well. The goal of the first consultation was clarity—understanding what the body was signalling and choosing a simple, measurable starting plan.
What we assessed
Looking at patterns together
We used a combination of symptom history, food and lifestyle patterns, and RBTI-style urine and saliva indicators to build a picture of digestion, hydration and stress load. The aim was not perfection—it was to identify the biggest “levers” that could create change.
The first 2–3 weeks
Keeping the plan realistic
We focused on a few fundamentals: consistent meal timing, simplifying food choices, supporting digestion, and tracking a small set of markers—energy, bowel comfort, sleep and a couple of simple at-home indicators. This kept the plan realistic and easy to follow.
What changed
Refining the next steps
By the follow-up, the client reported steadier energy and fewer “flare” days. The biggest win was confidence: they could see which habits helped and which ones did not. From there, we refined the plan step by step rather than jumping to extremes.
